CARBURACION y ACEITE WR 450

Un saludo y unas cerves virtuales a todos! Acabo de comprar una WR 450 07 y tengo algunas dudas. Ya termine el rodaje y e quitado los topes del escape, de la caja dl filtro, el AIS, y e cortado el tornillo de tope en el carburador. Que carburacion tengo q ponerle??? le cambie el filtro y el acite x un MOTUL 5100 10W50, esta bien ese aceite?? Gracias de antemano! :wink:

supongo que la aguja del carburador la habras puesto en la ranura nº 6, de todas formas mi mecanico me la carburo despues del rodaje y quitar los topes dijo que estaba un poco pobre.

el aceite no lo conozco siempre he usado castrol off-road y sin problemas.

El aceite que has puesto me parece perfectamante válido , al menos yo lo he usado y ha funcionado muy bien , sin problemas de ambrague y demás. Lo que veo mas complicado es la carburación. En el foro hay compañeros que son auténticos artistas con este tema , usando el buscador e incluso creo que en algún post fijo , hay informacion suficiente para que tú mismo carbures la moto , pero yo lo veo complicado . Espero que mi consejo no levante ampollas entre los endureros mas aficionados al "Hágalo usted mismo" ... si no sabes bien como hacerlo ( igual que yo ) llévala a un mecanico de confianza que toque bastantes motos de este tipo (no valen scuteros) y déjalo en sus manos. Si ya ha carburado motos iguales sabe lo que ha de cambiar , los chiclés que ha de montar , el grosor de la aguja, la altura del clip , el paso de aire...... son muchos parámetros donde atacar y para dejarla "teta" pienso que es complicado...

Hola a todos yo tambien me he comprado una wr 450 f del 2007 y el martes me la dan y ya estoy loco de ganas de que llegue el puente para irme a huesca con un amigo de barna.

ahi van unos ajustes standard para wr 450 , si no sabes inglés utiliza un traductor gratuito de internet .

AIS is air injection to help burn spent fuel to meet CA regs for trail bikes...it is un-needed. AIS removal is cheap and easy. Get the kit here at the TT store.

OR yamaha OEM has a GYTR kit that does the same thing.

The throttle stop is long, open up the throttle body, and remove the stop, cut it to YZ specs, re-install. free mod.

Open up the airbox by removing the snorkel, and cutting open the right side. Im not sure if the 06 have the pre-scribed cutting areas.

find the grey wire and clip it or disconnect it. This will recurve the timing to meet the demands of full throttle.

Open up the exhaust in whatever manner is appropriate, remove baffle, aftermarket endcap, aftermarket slip on silencer, etc.

re-jet the bike using INDY450's jetting chart:

Elevation 0 to 4,000. feet

30 to 45 degrees: 172 main, JD Blue #5, 48 Pilot, 2.0 turns, 75 starter jet, #0 leak jet

45 to 60 degrees: 170 main, JD Blue #4, 48 Pilot, 1.75 turns, 72 starter jet, #0 leak jet

60 to 75 degrees: 168 main, JD Blue #3 or JD Red #5, 48 Pilot, 1.5 turns, 70 starter jet, #40 leak jet

75 to 90 degrees: 165 main, JD Red #5, 48 Pilot, 1.25 turns, 68 starter jet, #50 leak jet

90 degrees plus: 160 main, JD Red #4, 45 Pilot, 2.0 turns, 65 starter jet, #60 leak jet

Elevation 4,000 to 8,000 feet:

30 to 45 degrees: 170 main, JD Blue #4, 48 Pilot, 1.75 turns, 72 starter jet, #0 leak jet

45 to 60 degrees: 168 main, JD Blue #3, 48 Pilot, 1.5 turns, 70 starter jet, #40 leak jet

60 to 75 degrees: 165 main, JD Red #5, 48 Pilot, 1.25 turns, 68 starter jet, #40 leak jet

75 to 90 degrees: 165 main, JD Red #5, 45 Pilot, 2.0 turns, 65 starter jet, #50 leak jet

90 degrees plus: 160 main, JD Red #4, 45 Pilot, 1.75 turns, 65 starter jet, #60 leak jet

Elevation 8,000 to 11,000 feet: ( Note you will loose a lot of power due to altitude but your bike will idle and not foul plugs!)

45 to 60 degrees: 165 main, JD Red #5, 48 Pilot, 1.25 turns, 70 starter jet, #40 leak jet

60 to 75 degrees: 160 main, JD Red #4 , 45 Pilot, 1.75 turns, 68 starter jet, #50 leak jet

75 to 90 degrees: 158 main, JD Red #3, 45 Pilot, 1.5 turns, 65 starter jet, #60 leak jet

:lol: Muchisimas gracias!! Tengo q comprar la aguja y los chicles xq la aguja solo tiene una posicion (supongo q xq es de importacion). De todos modos la e probado este finde sin topes y es una maravilla... no tiene ni vacios en la carburacion, estira bien y tiene buenos bajos. No me quiero imaginar si mejora carburarndola correctamente! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Tambien e pedido los plasticos blancos y las pegatinas.... pero ya veo q hay otras 2 iguales... :cry:
