José Manuel Pellicer (Yamaha) vence en el Raid de Las Merindades

Pellicer logra la victoria después de su decepción en la Baja Aragón

El primer fin de semana de agosto tuvo lugar el tradicional Raid de las Merindades, en la provincia de Burgos. José Manuel Pellicer participó y logró la primera posición después de haber tenido un mal resultado en la Baja Aragón.

Un total de 500 participantes acudieron a la tradicional cita en la localidad de Loma de Montija (Burgos) para competir en una nueva edición del Raid de las Merindades.

José Manuel Pellicer (Yamaha) decidió inscribirse después de no haber obtenido buenos resultados en la baja Aragón, y no sólo deidió inscribirse, sino que además se hizo con la victoria tras más de cuatro horas de lucha contra el variado recorrido, y con la dificultad añadida de doblar a cientos de pilotos al poco tiempo de la salida, Pellicer conseguía una cómoda victoria con más de 17 minutos de ventaja sobre Joan Barreda, con su nueva BMW oficial.

José Manuel Pellicer: "Decidí venir a las Merindades porque disfruto corriendo éste tipo de carreras, compartiendo vivencias con un montón de aficionados como yo. Esta es una de las grandes fiestas del off road en España y me encanta venir a disfrutar de unos días de moto y montaña. Quería olvidar pronto la decepción de la Baja, y nada mejor que correr una prueba de éste tipo. No ha sido fácil ya que el equipo BMW con Agra y Barreda son muy fuertes, pero al final todo ha salido bien y vuelvo a casa con una victoria y dispuesto a iniciar la preparación de una fase importante de la temporada, con tres citas muy importantes como son el Dakar Series en Portugal, donde espero realizar una buena carrera, y los Rallies de Egipto y Dubai".
